Purple Party

Each year, some friends of mine host a Purple Party to celebrate their wisteria blooming. In May 2023, I created purple-themed videos (mostly of flowers) to add ambiance to the party. These videos ended up being used in a variety of events later on. I used Stable Diffusion with FILM (Frame Interpolation for Large Motion) to smooth out the frame-to-frame action, and then used Real-ESRGAN to upscale to 4K and add detail.

My original goal was to make videos of wisteria trees blooming, but the test images I created for wisteria trees were very grounded in reality, and I wanted something more abstract, so I ended up prompting generic flowers instead of specifically wisteria.
